Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley is a wonderful little life-sim game with nearly endless possibilities of character customization and friendships to create with its colorful cast of Disney characters. During your time in the Valley, you’ll have many quests to take up and embark on as you complete tasks for the characters in order to gain rewards and build those friendships.
Early on, you’ll receive a quest from the mighty wizard Merlin, who sends you out to find all of the essential tools you’ll need for your time there. These items are called The Royal Tools and will definitely serve you well. Today, we’ll explain where to find them so that your journey can begin a bit quicker than it might otherwise.
Where to Find The Royal Tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In total, there are 4 items to locate within The Royal Tools set; a Pickaxe, Shovel, Watering Can, and Fishing Rod. Each is pretty easy to find, once you have gotten some time to wander around a get your bearings on the first area that the game introduces you to. Without further delay, let’s explore how to get each and every one of them!
Pickaxe
The first of the tools you’ll want to locate is going to be the Pickaxe. This one is essential because it’ll allow you to clear a few paths to other locations within the first area. This one can be found in the southeastern area of the plaza, on the right side of Scrooge’s building. Similar to the Sword in the Stone, this Pickaxe will too be plunged into rock, just waiting to be plucked out.
Shovel
The shovel can be found not too far from the Pickaxe. Just go to the northeastern area of the plaza, to the left side of the Remy building. It’s sitting stuck in the ground.
Watering Can
The Watering Can is quite possibly the easiest to grab as it’s sitting right outside of your house in a small area of land that looks like the future home of a garden.
Fishing Rod
Lastly, you can acquire the Fishing Rod by knocking down some of those rocks near the southern area of the plaza with your Pickaxe and heading out into the Meadow. Head west and you’ll find a pond. This pond is just past a little cart that Goofy runs a market out of. You’ll find the Fishing Rod laying down on the ground on the western side of this pond. next, meet up with Goofy and he’ll give you a good as new Fishing Rod to use.
