Where to Find Plastic Explosives in Warzone 2.0 DMZ

A rare but nul Explosive to find

Deploying into the DMZ always comes with a purpose. Be it looking to make a run for specific and rare material needed for Missions or having to find an extreme amount of the same goods over and over to exfil with, there is a lot of times when you put your hopes on the thought of the item you need actually spawning in at the time of your deployment. You may find yourself sending out a personal exfil for many runs just to get in and out safely enough, especially when completing Field Operations to upgrade your equipment. In the case of finding a ton of materials, be it for the Operations or Missions, you should get yourself a Secure Backpack to make your life a little easier. This is Vincent’s guide on where to find Plastic Explosive Bricks in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Although the function of the Plastic Explosives in DMZ for Season 05 are unknown as of this current moment, you can actually find these scattered around this Game Mode. But the question is where and what do you do with these once found? Unlike the tactical and lethal equipment that you bring with you into your deployment and can replenish throughout your run, the Plastic Explosives cannot be used in the pure sense that they were initially made for. Instead, if you get your hands on the Plastic Explosives, you have the opportunity to sell and gain $750 for it. Whilst we believe that it will be a Mission item for the near future as it can currently be used to upgrade your equipment such as unlocking the Armor Box Field Upgrade.

For this upgrade, you need to find a total of 5 Plastic Explosive Bricks that need to be extracted from the deployment in order to tick these off the objective counter. This upgrade includes the finding and exfiling of – Armor Boxes, Drills, Batteries, Screws and Electronic Components but this guide will focus on where to find the Plastic Explosive Bricks as these are found few and far between in DMZ. The search for Plastic Explosive Bricks can be done solely on Al Mazrah. We recommend going to Oasis and Airport to look for the Hidden Caches that are typically used for Secure Nuclear Materials Contracts. Finally, the Stronghold Soldiers can drop Explosive Bricks after killing them so you can use these as another method however both this and the Caches are not guaranteed as drops every time.

As of Season 05, these are the best and only places really to check for the Plastic Explosives in Warzone 2.0 DMZ. You will want to check the sandy biomes of Al Mazrah, such as around the perimeter of water in Oasis and at the edges of the Airport Runway.
