Where to Find Heavy Chopper Fuel in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Flight Risk Mission Guide

Why would the Fuel be in a logical spawn? It is COD after all

Getting out of this deployment is not as simple as waiting around for that Chopper to fly you and your Squad out of the DMZ. Exfiling just got a whole lot harder and it is down to you to figure out how to get out of here. Of course, following the standard exfil blue man icon on the Map will work as always, but why ruin the immersion? You need to locate the Heavy Chopper and make the escape out of the DMZ yourself. But finding the Chopper is only one part of the task. Of course the way out of here is empty and needs a refill and who better for the job than the DMZ veteran that is you, gamer. This is our guide on where to locate the Heavy Chopper Fuel to complete the ‘Flight Risk’ Redacted Mission.

How to Complete ‘Flight Risk’ Mission

Special Heavy Chopper Fuel Location

Upon locating the Heavy Chopper which is easily found in the Al Mazrah as it is visible in the Map Overview. There are multiple spawns of the Heavy Chopper so we recommend going straight onto your Map and looking for the Heavy Chopper Icon instead of trying a set spawn for the Chopper. The reason there are multiple available in Al Mazrah is for multiple Operators completing this Mission at once, especially for the Season 3 opening. Once you find the Heavy Chopper however, you will quickly note how you cannot pilot it as it has no fuel. Therefore, you must locate the Special Heavy Chopper Fuel which illogically cannot be found close to the Chopper itself.

In Al Mazrah, we recommend players to check the Train in the beginning of their deployment, as it can be found one of the carriages, towards the end of the Train. Keep in mind however that this is not a set spawn for the Heavy Chopper Fuel but if you check here first and do not find it, your next option is to go to Hafid Port and the Airport itself for the Fuel. The Fuel appears in a big green container and will typically be found atop furniture, counters and wooden crates. The game itself suggests to search the Train Stations, Airport and Smuggling Dens for the Fuel as it pops up in different spots per deployment.

How to Refill the Heavy Chopper and Exfil Out of the Deployment

To Refuel the Heavy Chopper you need to enter the Chopper to pilot it. You can not Refuel on the outside of the Chopper. Once you are inside where the bar at the bottom of your screen tells you that you are out of fuel, go into your Backpack and hover over the Heavy Chopper Fuel. Hit the Refuel button and the Chopper will be ready to fly. To exil with the Chopper as you pilot it, you can simply fly away from Al Mazrah to tick off the final Objective and complete the ‘Flight Risk’ Mission.
