Where to Find Gun Parts in Demonologist – Salt Gun Location Guide

Blast that fool with your superstition

So you are one step closer to becoming the Ultimate Ghost Hunter. Upon entering brand new grounds into the abandoned and haunted Hospital, there are not many settings that are eerier than this. Within these walls the spirits are louder than usual, they want their presence to be known by others. The walls scream with agony where hospital beds move, inhuman creatures on all-fours run around, taunting your every move. Whilst you have succeeded in making it to Level 10, things will be quite different within the Hospital setting. In a much larger environment the goal remains the same but you may find that both identifying the entity type and completing the Optional Objective is harder than the previous two Maps. For this reason, this guide will show you where you can find Gun Parts in Demonologist.

What are Gun Parts Used for in Demonologist?

Gun Parts sounds strange as part of a Co-op Ghost Hunting Horror Game. Most would assume that bullets would do nothing against the dead. This would be the case if it was not for the fact that the Parts of the Gun are essential for players to find in order to hit that Optional Objective. Although as the name suggests that this Objective is only optional, you can be rewarded with the highest Experience Points possible by completing this and then hitting the Exorcism Objective that will become unlocked upon finding the Gun Parts. Therefore, the goal shifts from identifying the entity type to locating the Parts of the Gun to fulfil this Objective. You must find these Parts in order to perform your exorcism in the Hospital.

The Parts of the Gun are only available in Map 3 of Demonologist, Hospital which is unlocked upon reaching Level 10 in the game. Unlike the other Optional Objectives in both Abandoned House and Cyclone St where there are multiple parts to complete, the Hospital only asks players to locate all Gun Parts. But inside a larger Map, this can prove difficult, especially for players unsure of where to look.

Where to Find Gun Parts

We highly recommend that players check the Ground Floor of the Hospital first. This, similarly to the Abandoned House will be the most viable spots in which the Gun Parts can be found. Just like the Fingers you need to find for Abandoned House exorcisms, players should check on top of all furniture they find. This can be a tedious task due to the mass quantity of equipment and furniture within the Hospital but players should check on top of tables, counters, couches and chairs. The Gun Parts will flicker regularly, flashing a white glow that is easy to spot so long as you are looking in the general direction of the item. Therefore, you would do better to stand in a room at a time, at its centre and do a 360 degree sweep.

The Parts of the Gun have randomized spawn points, therefore we cannot point you to a set direction of where to find them. However, we do recommend that players initially search the Lobby and Hallways before entering into Hospital Rooms. You can refer to your progress of the Gun build over by the Receptionist Desk. Players need to find a total of 3 Parts. Unfortunately, the Gun Parts can also spawn on the ground, so be sure to check every inch of the Hallways as they can spawn in underneath Chairs and behind Hospital Beds.

With the Salt Gun made, the exorcism will become unlocked, allowing you to begin your banishment of the spirit, regardless of their entity type. Arm yourself and take the entity out with a single bullet from the Gun. Luckily the weapon has unlimited ammo in case you miss. We hope this guide was useful.
