Where to Find Fingers in Demonologist

My, what long fingers you have

The latest of the Ghost Hunting Horror Games sees players identify entity types much like Phasmophobia. But unlike other games, players will get the opportunity to act as the local Priest, hired out to perform a well-needed exorcism on the entity. But before that, you will need to use your trusty Tools to figure out what type of entity you are dealing with. Be sure to keep your Sanity in check so that you are well enough to begin your exorcism. By completing all objectives you will get the highest total of points possible, of course, this is also upon correctly guessing the right entity type. For those wanting to perform an exorcism of their own within the walls of the Abandoned House, this guide will show you where to find the Fingers in Demonologist.

What are the Fingers Used for in Demonologist?

The Fingers in Demonologist are an essential part of the ritual process in Demonologist. But what makes these items unique is that they are exclusive to the first Map in the game, the Abandoned House. This is your intro into the world of exorcism, and in the creepiest way you can think of, players must find those five Fingers to help you perform your ritual. These act as a banishment item and a link towards the entity itself, allowing you to successfully exorcise it, no matter the typing.

In order to find the Fingers however, you will need to complete the Optional Objectives which are always the set of three listed below for the Abandoned House. These Optional Objectives are different depending on the Map you are playing.

  • Ghost must blow out the Candle.
  • Take a Photo of the Ghost.
  • Use the Ectoplasma Glass to find the silhouette of the human sitting on a chair.

Once you have completed these the exorcism option will open where the five Fingers will spawn into the Map.

Where to Find the Fingers in Demonologist

The Fingers have randomized locations, therefore we cannot specifically pinpoint where these will be for guide. But to guide you in case you are unable to find these in your playthrough, first make sure that you have successfully completed the Optional Objectives. You can head back to HQ to find out if you have hit these correctly, the exorcism option will become available when completed. The Fingers will be spawned in at this point. Players should look out for the white highlight that the item will flicker regularly as a visual aid for players overseeing the Map. You should proceed through the House slowly, sweeping all furniture, including any chairs as the Fingers can appear here.

The five Fingers can also appear on the floor. Be sure to place any Fingers you find into the ritual stands in the Basement, otherwise, you could miss some that you previously found but could not pick up. The Fingers will likely spawn within rooms on the Ground Floor. We recommend standing in a position where your flashlight can shine light across the entire room you are overseeing. Look out for anything on furniture first, with a common spawn point behind on Bookcase Shelves and Tables. Be sure to check Couches and Chairs however as Fingers can also spawn. Keep track of how many you have found and when all five have been collected, head to the Basement to begin the exorcism.

We hope this guide on where to find Fingers in Demonologist was helpful. Remember that this is only useful to those playing on the first Map, Abandoned House. For more guides on this Ghost Hunting Co-op Horror Game, please check out more from Gamer Journalist.
