Where to Find Cinquedea in Elden Ring

Here's everything you need to know about where to find Cinquedea in Elden Ring.

In real life, a short sword named the Cinquedea was developed in Italy around the 15th Century, and was a popular civilian-grade weapon. The name means “five fingers,” which is intended to be a rather overt description of the blade’s width. Considering everyone in Elden Ring has a weird fascination with human fingers (usually just two of them, but we’re not picky), it kind of makes sense that such a weapon would find its way to the Lands Between. Here’s where to find the Cinquedea in Elden Ring.

The design of Elden Ring’s Cinquedea is meant to invoke the image of a five-fingered beast, and there are few places as bestial as the Bestial Sanctum, found on the most northeastern point of Caelid. While you can technically walk to this place on your own two feet, you can actually get there fairly early and relatively safely by taking the warp point found behind the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. Talk to D in the Roundtable Hold, and he’ll mark it on your map for you.

The Cinquedea is located around the back of the Bestial Sanctum, though the ground doesn’t exactly facilitate a happy jaunt. From the front stairs of the Bestial Sanctum, walk around the building’s western perimeter. Try not to bother the Black Kindred Knight standing out front, because he will tear your head off if you give him a reason to.

When you’re on the cliff, look down and you should see some giant roots sticking out of the cliff face below you. Carefully drop down onto the roots, then drop down onto another root sticking out of the wall further down on your left. You should be able to drop further down onto a stone castle structure.

Continue dropping down levels, using Torrent’s double jump if necessary, all while hugging the ledges to keep yourself from falling too far. You might want to equip the Longtail Cat Talisman if you have it to nullify nonlethal fall damage just in case. You may also encounter some bat monsters, so it wouldn’t hurt to have a bow or crossbow handy.

When you can’t drop down anymore, follow the stone surface all the way north to find a small platform with a smashed statue of a rat on it, next to which you’ll find the Cinquedea on the ground.

Here are Cinquedea’s stats, if you’re curious:

  • Weapon Type: Dagger
  • Damage Types: Physical 98, Critical 100
  • Scalings: STR D, DEX E
  • Requirements: STR 10, DEX 10
  • Skill: Quickstep. Quickly step to the side to avoid attacks.
  • Passive: Boosts the power of Beast Incantations
