Where to Find Cigar Boxes in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Location Guide

After all that searching only to learn that the Cigar Cutter is not in the game

For the sake of a little smoke, Cigar Boxes are incredibly hard to find in the DMZ. Whilst you may expect the Cartel to be sitting back in Al Mazrah, smoking some cigars to pass the time, the truth is.. smoking is dead. There are barely any instances of players kicking it back and taking a smoke break to relieve some stress. Or perhaps the truth is that there are no Cigar Boxes due to the increasing stress of war taking its toll, resulting in the production of cigars running low and being used solely by soldiers. This may be the reason why there are literally no cigarettes or cigars around the Exclusion Zones of the DMZ. Being one of the hardest items to locate in the DMZ, this is Vincent’s guide on where to find the Cigar Box in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Cigar Boxes Location in DMZ

Locating the Cigar Boxes are required for a Forward Operating Base Mission, much like having to locate specific Chemicals to get the Phalanx Urgent Missions. These new Operating Base Missions have proven tough to players due to the highly limited supply of goods needed for the item counter across these objectives. To make matters worse, you will not be able to get these within a single deployment, especially if multiple Operators are looking for the exact same item in your game. Transformed into a true Escape from Tarkov-style Mode, you will find yourself racing against others to get the Cigar Boxes and safely exfil with them in hand to count towards the objective. With a bit of experimentation, it has been determined that Cigar Boxes are predominantly found in Ashika Island, with rarer drops in Al Mazrah.

But the location in which you can find Cigar Boxes cannot be specified aside from the types of lootable containers you should search for across your runs. Although a pattern seems to have occurred at both Residential and Tsuki Castle, you should focus your attention to loot Lockers and Jackets located in Houses. Keep in mind that the Cigar Box appears more like a USB rather than anything distinguishable to a Cigar Box or unique.

Alternatively, you can search both Duffel Bags and Cabinets inside Bathrooms in the Residential Sector of Ashika Island. When searching Al Mazrah, check out Al Sharim Pass as most other Operators will be searching through Ashika Island for these rare Cigar Boxes. It is likely that this is limited loot due to the fact that many Operators are looking for these all at the same time whereas other items such as Stims can be find in every deployment as Operators are not actively searching for them. The thing is…even when you finally get your hands on a cigar, you need a Cigar Cutter to smoke them and unlike the hard-to-find Cigar Boxes, the Cutter is nowhere in the DMZ.
