The Levincia Gym Leader Iono has revealed her squishy friend to the world via “livestream” as she is apparently one of the Pokemon world’s biggest Influencers. Now we all want to learn more about Bellibolt! That’s how Influencers work of course. So where can you find Bellibolt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

About Bellibolt

According to the official Pokemon website, Bellibolt is a pure electric-type frog Pokemon. There is currently not much more information beyond its appearance and special abilities. Its ability Electromorphosis, will allow Bellibolt to charge its electrical power when hit by an attack. This will boost the power of the next Electric-type move it uses. Scarlet and Violet will be the first games to feature this new ability.

Where to find Bellibolt

As for if you can find Bellibolt in the wild, that is still uncertain. With its clear connection to Iono, it is safe to say the electric-type Gym Leader will have Bellibolt in their roster of Pokemon you will face when the time comes. We can infer though at least since this is the Paldea region and there are examples of Bellibolt roaming free in the gameplay trailers, that catching a wild one is likely.

If you want to do a little bit of detective predictability, most of the shots of Bellibolt are around rainy swamp areas and in the grass around lakesides. This is the best we can guess so far if we get to see and catch a wild Bellibolt ourselves using the examples given. It is also unknown if Bellibolt has an evolutionary line or is a solo Pokemon.
