Long-time fans of the Yakuza series might recognize a familiar face in Like a Dragon: Ishin. But not from any of the main characters in the Yakuza universe. Instead, we are going to be focusing on Bob. A celebrity for fans of the series, as he has been a recurring side character since the beginning of the franchise. With the latest release in the series, players have been wondering if Bob will make an appearance in Ishin. Wonder no longer, as we can confirm that Bob is in fact in Like a Dragon: Ishin. He has items available to players who have completed certain challenges and for those who bought the digital deluxe edition. Where To Find Bakumatsu Bob in Like a Dragon: Ishin!
Bakumatsu Bob, named after the final years of the Edo period in Japan, is very noticeable to players even if they don’t know where to look. With face makeup and a fancy red nose along with it, he’s practically impossible to pass by without noticing. The hard part will be actually finding the area he’s located in.

First, in order for him to be available to talk to, you will need to advance to chapter 2. Once you make it to the Teradaya inn during chapter 2, you’ll be able to find Bob. What’s more, is that Bakumatsu Bob is actually located inside the Teradaya inn. Albeit in a small corner in the back. Upon entering the inn, you should see a hallway on the right side of the first floor when you walk in. Go down this hallway and you should see a man with a purple belt named Bob. Alternatively if you’re coming from your room upstairs, instead of taking a right out of the inn, go to the left.
