Where to Find Ashwinder Eggs in Hogwarts Legacy

Fire eggs coming right up.

The amount of creatures that live in the Wizarding World is outstanding. Furthermore, their fur, eggs, and other parts of their magical beings are ingredients in potions that will grant several bonuses and boosts to the ones that drink them. That is, of course, if done appropriately. If not, well, you better get your things in order. Anyway, today we will be collecting one of those ingredients for a very special potion. Here is where to find Ashwinder Eggs in Hogwarts Legacy.

Where to Find Ashwinder Eggs

Ashwinder Eggs are special eggs used for potion crafting. These come from the Ashwinder, a magical serpent that is created after a magical fire is left unchecked and allowed to burn for a prolonged amount of time. Its eggs are red and they possess a strong heat. In order for a wizard to handle them, they first need to cast a spell to be able to cool them down. Once frozen, they were very valuable possessions. They are a mandatory ingredient for love potions, for a cure for ague, and to create the Edurus Potion. In Hogwarts Legacy, we are tasked to craft this last potion by Professor Sharp, so we must find it asap.

The easiest and fastest way to get Ashwinder Eggs is to buy them. Really. Go ahead and pay Hogsmeade a visit and go to J. Pippins Potions. You will be able to purchase them for 150 gold a piece. Alternatively, you can travel to Keenbridge and purchase the eggs, again for 150 gold. You can also find the eggs in the wild, specially around Hogwarts Valley during the night, where the eggs can be seen a bit easier.

And that is pretty much it! You will only need to collect Ashwinder Eggs to create the Edurus Potion. This potion, by the way, gives the drinker a significant amount of protection (described as rocky skin) during combat. So, if you want to have a defensive advantage, you better craft this potion. Have a good time with your brews.
