Where to Find and Kill Commanders in Warzone Shadow Siege Event

A new weapon is up for grabs to those who can take down enough of these enormous enemies

Call of Duty has taken a page from games like Fortnite, including a limited time event (LTE) in Warzone. Shadow Siege is an LTE to help get players up to speed with the story and lore of the game, before the much anticipated CoD: Modern Warfare 3 launches. But that’s not all, as completing certain objectives in the event will reward players with goodies. Some of these could be simple things such as a Battle Token tier skip, others could give you a whole new weapon. We’re going to focus on the latter and figure out where to find and kill Commanders in Warzone Shadow Siege Event.

The Call of Duty staff released a news bulletin, detailing the entirety of this event. Players will have until August 21st at 10 AM PT to complete Shadow Siege, with the option to keep replaying it as many times as possible before it’s end date. And one of the most sought after rewards in the event, is the brand new “M13C” Assault Rifle. In order to obtain the weapon, players will need to assist in dispatching 5 Commanders. Commanders can be any of the following enemies you come across: Juggernauts, Boss Choppers, and Wheelsons.

Since things can get pretty hectic during the mission, players will receive notifications when these types of enemies spawn. However, if you’re still having trouble finding certain types of these Commanders, you’ll want to search through hidden bunkers as you collect gas canisters throughout the underground weapons facility. As you progress to stage 3 of this mission, you’ll be moving towards the Observatory in order to exfil. Search around said Observatory when you get a message that a Commander-type enemy has spawned. On top of this, you’ll want to keep your head on a swivel, and take out any attack helicopters you see in the air. All of these will work towards your objective progression and will get you one step closer to that new weapon. In any case, if you miss out on fully completing this side-objective, you can simply replay the mission and try again.
