Where to Find Ancient Protector WoW: Dragonflight

World of Warcraft will always be an achievement in game history, and its ninth expansion is a testament of that. The famous MMORPG has been a stable phenomenon that has been a synonym of gaming for over 18 years. Even friends that don’t know much about gaming will mention “Warcraft” as one of gaming’s keywords. That’s quite an achievement. But what I consider a greater achievement is being able to design and continue releasing new missions after 18 years. I can barely think about a couple of ideas from time to time, and the folks at Blizzard have been doing this for almost two decades. That is something to admire. But anyway, today we will tackle the quest to find the Ancient Protector. Here is where to find the Ancient Protector in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

Where to Find Ancient Protector

There are several quests in World of Warcraft Dragonflight where you are required to find and defeat the Ancient Protector. However, the way to find her is the same in all cases. Don’t worry, it may seem convoluted, but it is a basic “look for X, then Y will happen” type of mission. Be sure to follow the below steps in order to know where to find the Ancient Protector in World of Warcraft.

Ancient Protector Walkthrough

• In order to spawn the Ancient Protector, you will need to collect five Unstable Matrix Cores.
• They will drop from Titan Defense Matrix Mobs. You can locate them in Tyrhold, Thaldraszus. It is a 100% drop chance, so don’t expect to grind to find the Unstable Matrix Cores.
• Once you get five Unstable Matrix Cores, they will combine into a new item called Unsustainable Containment Core. Quite a chaotic name, right?
• You will now want to see your map and travel all the way to the four titanium reactors located in Tyrhold. Clicking on all four reactor’s vortexes will spawn the Ancient Protector.
• Although the Ancient Protector will give you some trouble, if you are in a group you will be able to send her to oblivion quite fast. Doing it solo is trickier, but certainly not impossible. This is where friendship pays off.
• You will be granted some nice drops after defeating the Ancient Protector, so be sure to collect those rewards.

Follow the above steps to summon and find the Ancient Protector and live to fight another day. You will be rewarded with dragon-riding mods, a polearm or even some crafting reagent, etc. You will be benefited from this, so prepare yourself for this battle and gather your party to make it less punishing.
