Where do you Find the Altar of Decay in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

One of the things that Dragonflight has done right is that, on contrary to past expansions, all the professions in the game are entagled with quests and storytelling. Leveling up your profession will feel like an adventure, not just a chore. Getting an ingredient from a certain place in the world, beating some enemies to collect an item that will help you forge, or even visiting a place of complete decay. Oh, that is the topic of today! Where to Find the Altar of Decay

You have the Leatherworking profession, and you are very curious about the Decayed patterns found in Primordial Leatherworking. Well, in order to fulfil your decayed needs, you will need to travel to the Altar of Decay, the only place in the world where you can craft these type of gear. Where is the Altar located? Well, it is not in a specific part of the map technically, but inside an instance, in this case, a dungeon. More specifically, Brackenhide Hollow, a level 66-70 dungeon.

To go there, you can just queue into the dungeon, or you can travel directly to the entrance (11.5, 48). The thing is, you must complete the dungeon and defeat the final boss. You can do this in any difficulty, not just Mythic. Once you have beaten the dungeon’s final boss, the Alter will be available for you. Be wary, however, since the Altar has poison spread all around it, so you will have to get rid of it as well.

Congratulations! You will now have the ability to craft your Decayed, Leatherworking creations. It is nice to see how the professions have been able to interact with the world and its quests. Now, go ahead and finish the dungeon to be able to find the Alter of Decay on your own. Although, I must warn you, you probably be better off by bringing a couple of friends.
