What is Once Upon a Jester About?

Once Upon a Jester is, unsurprisingly, a game about jesters. You get to play as a Jester traveling the Kingdom with his best friend, Sok. You get to improvise grand theatre shows for massive audiences, show off your amazing singing skills, and crack jokes until your audience dies with laughter! This game may seem like just another feel-good, performative arts game (and in some respects, it is), but there’s actually more to this game’s story than you think.

Sok and the Jester aren’t entertaining the public out of the goodness of their hearts; they’re secretly plotting to steal the famous Royal Diamond! To complete their devious, master plan, they’ll need to become the best entertainers in the Kingdom. If you ever hope to come close to the castle, where the king hides his priceless jewels, you’ll need to use your skills as a Jester to outperform every other act in the entire Kingdom! Once Upon a Jester is guaranteed to be the silliest heist game you’ve ever played.
