The fifth season of COD Mobile, entitled In Deep Water, is right around the corner. Players can expect new guns, new maps, fresh events, and lots more content coming their way in the upcoming season. Of course, there will also be some changes to the meta due to gun rebalancing. When does COD Mobile Season 5 start?

COD Mobile Season 5 starts on June 28, 2021, at 8 PM ET. Here’s the time breakdown for other regions:

  • Los Angeles: 5 PM PT on June 28
  • New York: 8:00 PM ET on June 28
  • Rio de Janeiro: 9:00 PM on June 28
  • London: 1:00 AM BST on June 29

What does COD Mobile Season 5 include?

COD Mobile: In Deep Water brings many new changes to the game, including:

  • CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle
  • Short Shotgun
  • Three new maps: Aniyah Incursion, Suldal Harbor, Docks
  • Multiplayer modes: Ground Mission and Cranked: Confirmed
  • New ‘Gung-Ho’ Perk: reloading and using tactical won’t slow you down
  • Operator Skill: K9 Unit
  • Sea of Steel event

As you can see from the list above, COD Mobile Season 5 introduces two new weapons to the mix: CR-56 AMAX and Shorty Shotgun. In addition, there are three potentially new maps on the horizon, which are Aniyah Incursion, Suldal Harbor, and Docks. Two other player modes will also join the playlist: Ground Mission and Cranked.

We have a couple of new perks and skills to look forward to, as well. The Gung-Ho perk is well-known from other Call of Duty games, and the K9 Unit is a Battle Pass Tier 14 unlock that will allow players to hunt down enemies using a canine.
