What are Royal Sigils?

As mentioned previously, Royal Sigils are a currency in game that players can acquire. Some may have even been hoarding sigils without even realizing it. There are several ways to get Royal Sigils, though one is by far the quickest and easiest. Completing an Expedition will award players one Royal Sigil per day. However, depending on the difficulty of said Expedition, the tier of Royal Sigil can vary. Royal Sigils can range from:

  • Adept’s Royal Sigil
  • Expert’s Royal Sigil
  • Master’s Royal Sigil
  • Grandmaster’s Royal Sigil
  • Elder’s Royal Sigil

Royal Sigils can also be crafted should higher tier difficulties be challenging for players. To craft an Adept’s Royal Sigil, nine Arena Sigils must be sacrificed. After that to craft the sigil you want, players must sacrifice two sigils of previous rank of the Royal Sigil they desire. There is one more way to craft a Royal Sigil. Talking to Arena Master Joan, players can trade nine Arena Sigils for either an Adept, Expert, or Master’s Royal Sigil.

What Are Royal Sigils for?

Getting Royal Sigils are nice, but they are pretty much useless if players don’t know what to use them for. Luckily, the answer is pretty cut and dry. Royal Sigils are used to craft the Royal Armor set. Coming in Cloth, Leather, and Plate varieties, the Royal Armor sets boast slight higher item power, as well as exclusive abilities not found in base versions of the armor.

Of course, with the higher tiers of Royal Sigils come added benefits. Comparing and Adept Royal Armor set to an Elder Royal Armor set is night and day. Item power is greatly increased, and so are the effects of the abilities found in them. The Royal Armor set is a decent set to grind for, and with materials easily access able, it’s only a matter of time before players own a set of Elder Royal Armor for themselves.
