Year 5 of Destiny 2 is finally coming to a close. There have been a lot of memorable moments, and the release of The Witch Queen expansion was met with positive praise overall. As is common with social media sites, Bungie has given players an option to receive an email detailing their year in review. This email covers all of the great things you’ve done in Destiny 2 over the past year. Packaging it in ‘Spotify Wrapped’ styled infographics, showing your top exotics, to how often you played certain classes. However there is one section of the email that has players in heated discussion. We are going to answer the question: what is the Best Fireteam Forever criteria in Destiny 2?

These year in review infographics provide the community with individual, ACCURATE, numbers in a concise and short-form manner. I put an emphasis on accurate, since if the numbers or graphs aren’t true to what actually happened in the year, what’s the point? People enjoy sharing their stats with their friends to see how they stacked up against their friends, or simply to show their love for the people they played with.

Unfortunately, people have been complaining of having issues with their Destiny 2 year in review. Specifically, when it comes to peoples Best Fireteam Forever list. The criteria for this part should show off the players that you most frequently cleared activities with since the launch of The Witch Queen. They then show you your top three players for PvP and PvE separately. It mostly seems that people have no problems with the people that are placed on their PvP list. The issue arises when you take a look at the PvE list.

This list might work and show true results for some, but for a handful of others, it shows nonsense. Instead of showing the people they played consistently with from their clan or friends list, they show random players and checkpoint bots on the list. Not only that, other Guardians have even reported their Top Exotics tab doesn’t accurately reflect the numbers they see in-game. A bit odd and confusing for some, and sadly if the email sent incorrect info, players will have to wait until next year to get a new year in review for Destiny 2.
