I dare you to name all the items available in World of Warcraft across its nine expansions. You can’t, because they are countless. From time to time, we will discover one certain item that we have never seen and wonder what is its purpose. Does it bring any type of boost towards our stats? Is it very valuable, so we can make a profit out of selling it? Well, today we will talk about one of those items. What is the Resplendent Gemstone in World of Warcraft Dragonflight?
What is Resplendent Gemstone?
The short answer is that the Resplendent Gemstone is a particular gemstone that is very colorful and shiny. The long answer is the following. Once you start The Great Vault quest, you will be tasked by Therezal, located in Valdrakken, to go ahead and obtain a piece of loot from the Great Vault. In order to gain access to the Great Vault, you will have to do one of the following: defeat 2 Raid Bosses, complete 1 Mythic+ Dungeon, or earn 1250 Honor Points from Rated PvP. When you claim your loot, you will receive a piece of gear, a Mythic+ key and the Resplendent Gemstone.
It appears that it does not have any purpose whatsoever. And that is because it doesn’t. The only purpose that this item serves is as a quest item that must be delivered back to Therezal once you return to him to finish the mission. And that’s it, it is otherwise pretty useless.
