It’s no secret that most “secrets” in D&D campaigns can be a ruse tempting you in giving in and investigating it. Only to find out that it was a trap of some sort, and you’re now face to face with a ten-foot tall walking amalgamation of flesh. However in Baldur’s Gate 3, some curiosities might end up rewarding you. During the first act, players can find a secret underground area that lies beneath the map that you know. Comprised of a plethora of new and interesting secrets and quests, players are bound to find the Arcane Tower. On the third floor, a lone button next to a window has left players perplexed and intrigued. Leaving many to wonder: what does mysterious button near Arcane Tower do? Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
What Does Mysterious Button Near Arcane Tower Do? Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)
The Arcane Tower is located in the Underdark below the Blighted Village, giving players a multitude of ways to access it. Upon reaching the third floor, when you initially press the button your character will note that nothing happens, leaving you to find a solution. And if you don’t know what to look for, you might end up forgetting about this button. Players will need to navigate over to a dog grove located at the southwest part of the Sussur Tree in the Underdark.
In this area, you’ll find a tombstone that players will want to dig up with a shovel. In this grave, you’ll find a peculiar dog collar. Which might not make any sense now, but will all become crystal clear after returning to the Arcane Tower. Upon doing so, you can attempt to press the button again, and find that still nothing immediate happens. Nothing, except the collar you grabbed from the grave vibrating in your inventory. You’ll then want to equip the collar to your character, and then press the button. You’ll be rewarded with: a juicy and delicious raw steak. A feature that must have been very convenient for the previous owner of the collar.
