As players are busy getting boosting their light level, some have reported seeing this statement in the season pass screen. With nothing besides Hard Partitions happening as of now, people have wondered just what it meant when it was talking about entering the Vex network. Thanks to a few theory-crafting fans and dataminers, we might already know what this statement means.

It seems as if this statement is referring to the new exotic quest that will become available after the completion of the new raid. Dataminers have found that the image that goes along with the statement references a new exotic Glaive that will be the new exotic question for the Season of the Defiant. It’s still unknown as to what the specifics of that quest are going to look like, however that hasn’t stopped people from speculating already. People suspect the Asher Mir might have something to do with it, as they have recently reappeared during one of the new sparrow missions. Many are still torn however, as they can’t yet say for sure if Asher will be our guide for the quest, or the final boss for the raid.
