Slime Rancher 2 is a wonderful game that will introduce you to a myriad of a cute slimes. Some slimes are a little scarcer than others, but all are easily available and fun to ranch. However, there are some slimes are not possible to ranch, and are so rare that they’ve been whispered into myths and legends. Some ranchers may never get to see two particular slimes. Here are what to do with the Lucky and Gold Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.
What is the Lucky Slime in Slime Rancher?
The Lucky Slime is not so rare, and will most likely visit you on numerous occasions. The Lucky Slime looks like a white Tabby Slime with a golden coin on its head. It will jump out of nowhere and will produce a lovely jingling sound as if it were shaking a sack of coins. If you ever hear that noise, grab your closest Hen or Roostro.
Locate the Lucky Slime as it won’t stick around for long! Grab a Hen or Roostro and shoot it into the slime. It will gratefully eat it and shoot into the air, coins bellwing out in a cloud underneath it. You will receive 100 Newbucks every time you feed it a meat food.
You must feed it as many times as you can before it disappears; its lifespan is very short.
What is the Gold Slime in Slime Rancher?
The Gold Slime is the rarest slime to ever grace the lands. You’ll hardly hear the sparkly tones as it leaps into existence. If you see this golden slime, you’d better act quickly. It hardly sticks around for you to gasp.
You must shoot any food item into the slime, at which it will quickly consume it and bound away, leaving a golden plort in its stead. If you are quick, you can spam food items, and a golden plort will be produced for every food items that hit it.
You must be prepared, however, as there is barely time to collect food.
Once you have collected the golden plorts, you can sell them for astronomical prices at the plort market.
