What are Relay Tickets used for in Fire Emblem Engage? – Answered

Optional bonus goodies is always a nice thing

Fire Emblem Engage offers plenty of content for players, from the already lengthy main plotline to its side content. The majority of said optional content is accessed in the Somniel, the home/hub world of the title that consists of activities such as donating to neighbouring countries, adopting animals and using every single resource and service the map contains in it.

While the most obvious areas that are worth daily check ins do not need to be reminded to the player about their availability, the rather abrupt and even glossed over reward of the Relay Ticket and its usage tends to be a headscratcher. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

What are Relay Tickets used for in Fire Emblem Engage?

Relay Tickets are handed out to the player whenever an entire day has rolled by in the Somniel. This is best signalled by returning to it once clearing a chapter. This is the only way to obtain a Relay Ticket.

These Relay Tickets are then put towards the Tower of Trials that is tucked away right in the bottom middle of the map that trails off from the rest of the land. It is easy to bypass it for this reason, but noticing it just once shows the player the benefits of putting the Relay Tickets to use. Since this is the only way to redeem Relay Tickets, it is worthwhile for the rewards that come from the Relay Trials.

This mode utilises the online gameplay mechanics Fire Emblem Engage contains, requiring multiple players to take turns in a match that plays out similarly to a Relay Race as a SRPG. It is worth both the challenge and the rewards that tends to be resources to buff up unit’s stats.

Please note that Relay Tickets are not used towards Tempest Trial or Outrealm Trial modes.
