There sure are a lot of sources for web-based learning nowadays. Back in my day, if you couldn’t come to school, all you could do was needle your friends until they coughed up their notes. Quizlet offers a great source of web-based learning, especially with its Quizlet Live feature. To use Quizlet Live, though, you’ll need a code. So, what are Quizlet Codes, and how do you find and use them?
What are Quizlet Codes? How to Find and Use Quizlet.live Codes
Quizlet Live serves as a way to turn premade Quizlet flashcards into a kind of remote trivia game. Players can connect remotely and submit their answers to the questions posed, and whoever gets the most right answers wins. While this is primarily intended as an educational tool, you can also use Quizlet Live to host trivia challenges with your friends.

Here’s the rub, though: only users with a teacher’s account on Quizlet can create flashcards and host Quizlet Live sessions. When a teaching account user creates a Quizlet Live session, a six-digit code is created. This Quizlet Code can then be distributed to the players, who enter it on the Quizlet Live splash screen to join the session.
A Place of Learning
What this means is that a Quizlet Code isn’t really something you can just “find.” Unless someone with a teacher account is deliberately hosting a public Quizlet Live session, you probably won’t find any Quizlet Codes in any public spaces. If you don’t have a teacher’s account yourself or know someone who does, there isn’t any way for you to use Quizlet Live, unfortunately.
If you want someone to host a Quizlet game for you, you could try asking on the unofficial Quizlet Reddit page. Most of the users of that page are teachers using Quizlet for its intended purpose, though, so your success in that endeavor may be… mixed. A better option might be to split the cost of a Quizlet teacher account with a group of friends, then organize your trivia contests through something like Discord.
As I said, Quizlet isn’t really intended for casual trivia, even if it is pretty good at setting such contests up. In lieu of Quizlet, you might want to try other resources like Tabletop Simulator or Water Cooler Trivia. These programs are deliberately designed for leisure, and while they do cost money, don’t require any kind of special accounts to use.
