What Are Key Points and How to Get Them in Digimon World Next Order

What are they and why do you need them?

Digimon World Next Order allows you to really get to grips with what it’s like to exist with the Digimon. As you rest and bond and communicate with them, you’ll connect on levels that other monster-catching games don’t allow. To take it a step further, you also can read the key points of each Digimon, which allows you to read them inside and out. What are they, however, and how do you get them?

What are Key Points in Digimon World Next Order?

Key points in Digimon World Next Order are directly related to Digivolving. If you have a look at the Digivolution tree, you’ll notice that certain Digimon need a certain amount of ‘key points’, and the higher the Digivolution level, the more key points are needed. These are not tangible things, however, but merely an indication of how closely your Digimon needs to match the one you want to evolve into.

In other words, if a Digimon that you want to Digivolve into has three key points, this means that you need to match at least three of that Digimon’s stats with your current Digimon’s stats. There are many stats that you could reach: HP, MP, Strength, Stamina, Wisdom, Speed, Weight, Mistakes, Bond, Discipline, Wins, and Key Digimon. If a Digimon has three key points, that means you only need to select three of those stats to match if you want to Digivolve into that select Digimon.

How to Get Key Points in Digimon World Next Order

To match most key points, you simply need to train in the Dojo. Stats are straightforward to match, as all you need to do is train your Digimon until the stats you are training match the key point of your desired Digimon. More abstract key points, such as bond, discipline, and mistakes are a little trickier to match, however.

You can increase a Digimon’s discipline but berating them for being lazy or attention-seeking, or by feeding them vegetables. Be careful, though, as you could harm the bond between you and your Digimon. Bond is best increased by allowing your Digimon to indulge in consuming fish or drinks from a vending machine, or by interacting with it often. Bond and discipline generally tend to oppose each other, but they are not mutually exclusive.

Mistakes is a stat that requires you to be a terrible owner. For example, training when tired or forgetting to feed them or let them sleep. Each time you do such a thing, the mistake counter will increase.

Wins merely mirror the number of battles the Digimon has won.
