What are Hit Streak Boons in Metal: Hellsinger and how to use them

You'll need any help you can get. Just don't miss.

In Metal: Hellsinger, there are no free gifts. You’ll either have to suffer hell before or after receiving them. But in the Hells, any help is a miracle. The Hit Streak Boons are a set of passive rewards that you can benefit from as long as your hit streak is maintained. With each boon getting better than the last, you’ll really want to know what they are so you can capitalize off them. Here are what the Hit Streak Boons are in Metal: Hellsinger, and how to use them.

What are the Hit Streak Boons in Metal: Hellsinger?

The four Hitstreak Boons are thus:

  • Enduring Fury: Once you reach a hit streak of 6, your fury will dissipate at a slower rate, allowing you more time before dropping a level. This becomes available after completing Voke.
  • Faster Ultimate Gain: Once you reach a hit streak of 14, your equipped weapon’s ultimate will gain faster, allowing you to unleash hell quicker. This becomes available after completing Stygia.
  • Deadlier Dash: Once you gain a hit streak of 22, your dash does a lot more damage, effectively making it a weapon. This becomes available after Incaustis.
  • Explosive Slaughters: Once you reach a hit streak of 30, any slaughters you perform will cause damage-dealing explosions, healing you and hurting others. This becomes available after completing Nihil.

There may be only four boons, but they each make you somehow even more powerful than you were before, and are not to be dismissed.

How to activate the Hit Streak Boons

Hit Streak Boons are automatically applied in battle whenever your hit streak meets the threshold. A quick text on the left will remind you of the boon that had just been activated. If at any point you lose your hit streak, you will lose all active boons, but they can simply be reactivated through building your hitstreak.

The hit streak works in a strange way in Metal: Hellsinger. It only regards on-beat hits. There is no time limit to your hit streak, as long as you don’t ruin it, no amount of time will expire it. If you make any off-beat shots, whether they hit the target or not, then you’ll lose you hit streak. You’ll also loose it if you get hit.

So, essentially, simply make-on-beat shots and don’t get hit and you’ll build a mighty hit streak in no time. The Streak Guardian and Boon Momentum Sigils will help you massively with this.
