What Are All of the Changes to the Caldera Map in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4? Answered

The battlefield is always changing.

A wise man once said that a battlefield is a living thing. Topography is always changing, not just from explosives, but from new construction efforts. That’s why you always need the most up-to-date info about your battlefield. Case in point, what are all of the changes to the Caldera map in Call of Duty: Warzone season 4?

First and foremost, a large portion of the foliage on the Caldera map has been cleared out for the new Storage Town area. Storage Town is an older Warzone POI that’s made a comeback on Caldera, and everything you remember has returned: the big water tower, the lines of storage units, and the central building. It’s not all flat terrain, though; the Storage Town is built on the side of a hill, which can offer some new and interesting lines of sight.

Secondly, an Armoured SUV can now be found on Caldera. Drive in style, comfort, and above all, safety! Besides the driver and two passenger seats, the Armoured SUV features a pop-out gunner seat with a Heavy Machine Gun. The driver also has access to a Nitro Boost for quick getaways or chases.

Thirdly, several existing landmarks and POIs have been tweaked and updated. Many of the denser forest areas have been thinned out, providing less cover, though new campsites have taken their place. The island’s seven bunkers are now Mercenary-controlled, requiring Key Cards to enter. Crack one open for all kinds of quality loot.

Finally, small tweaks have been added to most of the island’s major areas:

  • The Capital now has rooftop scaffolding
  • Skulls and bones have been removed from the Dig Site
  • A ship is docked at the Arsenal drydock
  • New staircases at the Peak
  • New industrial area north of the Peak
  • New military camp east of the Summit
  • Dried riverbeds near Gondola Station
  • Dried river southeast of the Peak
  • Receded water near the Docks
  • Dried pool in the Fields
  • Dried rivers near Radio Station and Factory
  • Dried river near Village
