Recently, Call of Duty: Warzone has been plagued by technical issues that have prevented players from enjoying both games. Today, developers announced how they plan to fix these issues going forward while also revealing which new Call of Duty games are in development.
COD Sequels and Patches Are on the Way
In a blog post, the team behind Warzone has promised to make the game more accessible and fun for the community. To do this, they provided a list of some improvements coming to the game:
- Improvements in all forms of movement: vehicle handling, parachutes deploying at a lower vertical height, increased player mantle height, and collision fixes for both vehicles and players.
- The Gas Mask animation no longer interrupting Operators who aim down sights.
- When inserting Armor Plates, it refills a full plate of armor before filling damaged ones.
One of the biggest requests from the community has been FOV sliders on console. The team responded to this by explaining how an FOV slider would create performance issues for last-gen console players.
The blog post ended with a section listing details about the next Call of Duty games. Later this year, a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare will be released. There will also be a new Warzone game designed together with this sequel.
A release wasn’t given for either game, but the Modern Warfare sequel will likely release later this year in the fall.
