Warhammer 40K Tacticus Tier List

A current tier list of the units in Warhammer 40K Tacticus.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is a turn based strategy gacha game. In games like Warhammer, there are way too many characters to keep an eye on, so we’ve gone ahead and made a tier list that will give you an idea of who is the most important to focus on. Any legendary in the game is going to be a solid choice no matter what. Or you can just play who you think is the most fun, of course.

S

  • Aleph-Null – makes scarabs that have a chance of multiplying, he can zerg the board in a few turns.
  • Achimatos – Just a solid summoner pick.

A+

  • Celestine – summons minions when attacked and that triggers her passive ability.
  • Makhotep – buffs the minions of summoners
  • High Marshall Helbrecht – he can make all heroes and minions deal 50% more attack

A

  • Commisar Yarrik – another summoner zerg, easy to get with less utility.
  • Roswitha – another passive ability buffer
  • Anuphet – another summoner! (summoners are the best in the meta right now)

B+

  • Isabella – best unit with a rez
  • Morvenn Vahl – solid unit that will carry you through all content
  • Abaddon the Despoiler – he’s only up this high because he’s a legendary
  • Calandis – he can move twice and has a high crit chance
  • Boss Gulgortz – powerful tank that buffs melee attackers and can take the hits for your team

Unfortunately, every hero from this point on has negligible pros and cons. If there’s someone in B tier they’re better than C tier, etc. Luckily though the game gives you enough currencies to pull at least one or two legendary heroes for free so just keep at it!

B

  • Thaddeus Noble
  • Aethena
  • Snappawrecka
  • Varro Tigurius
  • Vindicta
  • Volk
  • Maladus
  • Kut Skoden
  • Certus
  • Marneus Calgar
  • Catellan Creed

C

  • Thutmose
  • Imospekh
  • Brother Burchard
  • Haarken Woldclaimer
  • Angrax
  • Ancient Thoread
  • Gibbacrapz
  • Bellator
  • Sibyll Devine
  • Snotflogga
  • Typhus

D

  • Corrodius
  • Incisus
  • Nauseous Rotbone
  • Pestillan
  • Sword Brother Godswyl
  • Tanksmasha
  • Brother Jaeger

Despite everyone being ranked on here, don’t let that discourage you and who you like to play. From a single player standpoint, any of these characters will pull you through to the end! But if you want to dip your toes into PVP, that’s where the game becomes a bit tricky, and you need to take into account who’s the best in what situations. We hope you enjoyed the guide and stay tuned for future guides on the games in the Warhammer Universe!

Obsessed with grinding, always playing some game you've never heard of. I am a huge MMORPG, Gacha and farming simulator fan. If I'm not grinding something in one of the many games I play (Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Epic Seven etc) I can be found working on my novel, reading, watching anime or hanging out with my three dogs.
