Warhammer 40K: Darktide is the much-anticipated hack and slash from Fat Shark. The successor to the Vermintide series, Darktide takes place in the 41st Millennia, where the Chaos Gods and the God-Emperor tussle for supremacy. If you are going to be throwing yourself into the masses of plague-infested Nurgle demons, you’d better be equipped for the task. And curios can really assist with your survival. Here is how to equip your curios in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.
How to Equip Curios in Darktide
What are Curios?
Curios in Warhammer 40K: Darktide are fantastic pieces of equipment that will significantly increase your life expectancy if used properly. Just like in Vermintide, they provide passive bonuses that will support your operative through their fight against the heretics.
You can claim these curios from the armory for Dockets. They come in the form of trinkets, jewelry, charms, and other such little details that will not just help you out, but will do it in style. These aren’t just passive bonuses but are also physical cosmetics.
The bonuses will range from receiving more Dockets, or increasing the number of times you can be revived. Make sure to cater your equipped curios to your build. A delicately thought-out curio set could really play to your strengths and make you near-unstoppable.
How to Equip Curios
As seen above, if you want to equip your gained curios, then you need to press ‘I’ to access your loadout. Along the bottom is a strip of equipment slots for your curios. You get three, one unlocking with every eight Trust Levels.
You must be considerate when deciding which curio to use, as you can only have a few active at any time.
For the early game, you won’t be able to access your curios, so you can neglect them for now, but don’t forget them!
When available, simply click on the available curio slot and then choose which curio you want to activate.
