Handling WoW deals are the combination of strategy, utilities, survivability and more. But sometimes, the most important part is to deal the sufficient amount of damage to obliterate the enemy in an instant. That is the case of the Ulduar raid. Incredible AoE and Single-Target attacks. Wide variety of utility tools that compliment the amount of damage output, as well as the ability to heal by their afflictions spread.

Unholy Death Knight
Considered the AoE master, the Unholy Death Knight also sports a pretty decent Single-Target damage output. Their efficiency makes this class ideal for Ulduar.

Will be able to deal a decent amount of attacks that have a great AoE damage. Great survivability and a lot of team-friendly spells to choose from.

Arcane Mage
Arcane Mages will excel at Single-Target damage, but will struggle with AoE attacks. They also suffer from poor mana management. Try to keep a balance between damage output and mana pool.

Assassination Rogue
This class has an outstanding Single-Target kill potential. Their AoE damage is bigger than their Combat counterpart. Can be useful in specific situation as Single-Target is their forte.

Survival Hunter
A well-rounded class, they have a great DPS output and mana efficiency. Their health pool allows them to survive longer.

Frost Death Knight
Single-Target proficciency, with their AoE and cleave being nerfed due to their abilities having a huge cooldown. Great survivability and has the ability to increase melee haste for the whole party.

Combat Rogue
Excellent scaling and potential great penetration stat thanks to set bonuses. As you may suspect, AoE damage is far from ideal.

Fire Mage
With their ability to gain more Critical Strike Chance, and coupling with set bonuses, the Fire Mage can be useful in Ulduar. However, Arcane Mages are slightly superior to them.

Balance Druid
Great damage potential (Single-Target and AoE attacks). However, their Single-Target measures short compared to above classes. AoE damage output can make this class eligible for Ulduar.

Enhancement Shaman
Great Single-Target damage and utilities, but they have really low survivability. Can be really powerful, but will probably fall because they can deal enough damage to justify choosing this class.

Marksmanship Hunter
Can be a decent choice for Ulduar, however, their stats and abilities fall below their Survival counterpart. Nevertheless, could be useful due to their Single-Target damage, scaling and set bonuses.

Elemental Shaman
High survivability and decent set bonuses, but their Single-Target and AoE damage are mediocre to say the least.

Destruction Warlock
Possesses a decent AoE stun ability, but their damage output will be easily overshadowed by other classes, specially caster specs.

Feral Druid
Great AoE damage output and extreme survivability. However, this class is very difficult to master, so it renders this class not worthy on most cases.

Fury Warrior
A decent class, with decent AoE damage. The thing is, this class is based on RNG, so that’s a big no for most of us mortals that are always dealt a bad hand.

They lack damage output and are most useful for their utilities. Lacks set bonuses. Great at cleave fights, but lacking in AoE ones.

A decent DPS output, but will lack Single-Target damage. They have great cleave and AoE damage output.

With lackluster set bonuses and scaling, this class really is not meant for Ulduar. Sorry, this isn’t your day, Beast Hunter.

Arms Warrior
Arms Warriors simply don’t make the cut, because the Fury Warriors are much better at what they do. In Ulduar, they simply don’t deliver the damage needed to justify its choosing.

Blood Death Knight
Unfortunately, the Blood Death Knight will fall way behind its counterparts, specially because it lacks AoE capabilities.

Frost Mage
Poor DPS, decent AoE, but abysmal Single-Target damage. Simply not worth your time.

Subtlety Rogue
A class not fit for this type of situations. Better suited for PvP, not PvE.
So, if you want to survive in Ulduar, you have the above classes to pick from. There is a lot of variety, and also quite a bunch of classes that will definitely bring your party’s demise if chosen.
