On Saturday, September 10, Ubisoft Forward 2022 will take place. This has become Ubisoft’s replacement for their annual E3 press conferences. During the show, fans can expect to hear updates on already announced games as well as announcements of brand-new games. If you can’t wait to see the show next week, here’s how to watch it and what you can expect to see if you do.
How and When to Watch
You can watch Ubisoft Forward 2022 on YouTube, Twitch, and the official Ubisoft website. These platforms are each accessible across mobile and desktop devices. The event will take place on September 10, 2022.
What Games Will Be at Ubisoft Forward 2022?
For the past year, there have been rumors regarding two Assassins’ Creed games: One is Infinity, a live service game with multiple settings. The other is Rift, a game more like the early Assassins Creed games. Back in June, it was confirmed by Ubisoft that information about the future of Assassins Creed would be revealed during an event in September. We now know this event is Ubisoft Forward 2022 and that these two games will most likely be a part of it.
Another Ubisoft game in development is Beyond Good and Evil 2. The game has been in development since the early 2000s and finally had a gameplay reveal at E3 2016 before disappearing from the public eye once again. Rumors have popped up recently about the game and its development so there’s a good chance of it appearing at Ubisoft Forward 2022.
The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake is another troubled Ubisoft game. The game was announced at the 2020 Ubisoft Forward and was criticized for having poor graphics. It was then delayed multiple times and even changed developers. Even though it’s no longer scheduled to release during the 2022-2023 fiscal year, it could still make an appearance during Ubisoft Forward 2022.
