How to Unlock Lin in Tower of Fantasy
As Lin is the latest upcoming SSR Simulacrum to grace us with her presence, you might be wondering how to unlock this majestic beauty. Like most gacha games, in order to unlock Lin you will have to spin for her weapon the Shadow Weaver.
Lin Shadow Weaver Weapon Abilities
Lin’s choice of weapon in Tower of Fantasy is a Shadow Weaver, it’s a fan-like weapon that uses the Aberration Element. She is the first Simulacra to use this Elemental effect.
Aberration Weapon Effects
When the weapon is fully charged, the next attack will leave a mark on the enemy that explodes after 5 seconds. The explosion deals 25% of the damage dealt during the marked period, up to 560% of ATK. Though only one mark can exist at a time.
You can activate weapon mastery when using other weapons, Nightblooms will randomly appear around the target and explode within 1-3 seconds, dealing 60% AOE damage.

Shadow Weaver Weapon Abilities
Normal Attacks
Normal:
Shadow Weaver can perform five attacks when on the ground.
First attack: Deal damage equal to 59.9% of ATK +3.
Second attack: Deal damage equal to 57.1% of ATK + 3.
Third attack: Deal damage equal to 49.5% of ATK + 3.
Fourth attack: Deal damage equal to 114.2% of ATK + 6.
Fifth attack: Deal damage equal to 152.2% of ATK + 8.
Air Strike: Jump + Attack
When airborne, tap basic attack five times to perform consecutive attacks in the air.
First attack: Deal damage equal to 30.6% of ATK + 2.
Second attack: Deal damage equal to 55.6% of ATK + 3.
Third attack: Deal damage equal to 48.2% of ATK + 3.
Fourth attack: Deal damage equal to 111.2% of ATK + 6.
Fifth attack: Deal damage equal to 148.3% of ATK + 8.
Mud Scatter: Attack + Hold attack
After the second basic attack on the ground or in the air, hold the basic attack to trigger the Mud Scatter attack. Launch an attack at the target location, dealing damage equal to 83.2% of ATK + 4 and knocking the target down.
Passive attack: Quickly click the basic attack after Mud Scatter to perform a fully charged Short-Lived.
Short-Lived: Hold attack
Hold the basic attack to release a Short-Lived, it can be charged up to three stages, gaining immunity to control effects while charging.
Stage 1: Deals damage equal to 73.9% ATK + 4.
Stage 2: Deals damage equal to 146.2% of ATK + 8.
Stage 3: Deals damage equal to 246.2% of ATK + 13.
Falling Shadow: Jump + Hold attack
Fall quickly from the air and deal damage equal to 160% of ATK + 8 and knocking down targets.
Dodge Attacks
Dodge:
Dodge before getting hit to trigger a Phantasia, reducing the speed of enemies within an area. Become immune to hitstun for 0.5 seconds while dodging.
Just Leave Greenery:
Launch an attack on a target while dodging midair, dealing damage equal to 70% of ATK +4. This hit will generate 1-3 Nightbloomes and forms a field that lasts for 5 seconds that reduces enemy movement speed by 50%.
Passive: This attack can be used on the ground or in the air. When under control effects, immediately break out and cast the field, cooldown 20 seconds.
Moonlight Realm
Form a Moonlight Realm around yourself for 15 seconds, within the Realm you will gain 10% damage bonus. You can also double jump multiple times and gain 20% increased jumping ability and reduce stamina consumption by 50% (cooldown 30 seconds).
When you use Shadow Weaver inside this Realm, you will enter the Cold Air state where your falling speed is greatly reduced. Jumping while moving will allow you to perform a shuttle and launch an attack dealing 66% of ATK +3 and spawn 1-3 Nightblooms.
Passive: Inside the Moonlight Realm, a Nightbloom will be generated near the target every 0.8 seconds.
Discharge
Gravity Weave
When a weapon is fully charged or triggers Phantasia, switching to this weapon from another weapon removes all debuffs from the wielder and releases a gravity field with a strong pull, dealing damage equal to 542% of ATK + 29. After 5 seconds, the gravity field will explode in a wide diffusion wave, dealing 271% of ATK + 14 damage. During the discharge animation, you become immune to damage for 2.6 seconds.
Tower of Fantasy Lin Best Build
Enhancing Lin’s power would be best done by making use of Matrices, if you are unfamiliar, Matrices are weapon attachments that will provide stat boots and special effects.
Lin 4-Piece Set: Traveling 5 meters within Moonlight Realm will grant 1 stack of Moon’s Realm, increasing your total damage by 7%/8.3%/9.6%/11% for 15 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. The effect is active in the background. If multiple sets are used, only the highest star set will take effect. These are extremely powerful damage and attack buffs that are easy to upkeep
Samir 2-Piece Set: Increase damage progressively by 1% upon hitting the target. Stack up to 10/13/16/20 times. Lasts 1.5 seconds. Shadow Weaver will deal with many hits and easily maintains the damage buff.
