The rivalry between the streaming services continues, and Twitch is doing its best to retain the top talent on their platform. Mixer has been actively poaching streamers from Twitch, most notably Shroud and Ninja, during 2019.

This is a huge deal for Twitch, as these three streamers make up a big percentage of viewers and culture. There’s no doubt each of these streamers alone is worth millions of dollars to Twitch.

Twitch’s senior VP of content and partnerships says ” We’re really excited that DrLupo, LIRIK, and TimTheTatman will keep calling Twitch home. They’re incredible players and partners and each bring a unique style to their streams that really resonates with their communities. They’ve achieved a lot to date, and we’re thrilled to be able to partner with and invest in them so they can continue to build on that success in the future.”

Streamers can look at the whole streaming landscape as an opportunity to earn more money, as many streaming platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Mixer are all now competing for their business.

TimTheTatman, DrLupo, and LIRIK all released videos today announcing that they will be staying with Twitch. You can see the videos on their Twitters which will be posted below for your convenience.
