Top 5 Best Minecraft Cake Ideas

Though you’ll find a near-endless sea of Minecraft-themed cakes across the internet, these 5 cakes really stood out as some of the coolest ones that you could pull off. The bakers of these definitely got a lot right with the final products. Some are pretty easy while a couple are definitely aimed at the more versed in cake making.

Minecraft Cake

What better cake to do than one inspired by the in-game cake that you can make in Minecraft? It’s a fairly simple design but is really fun because it brings something you’d eat in the game out to the real world. This is an aspect that fans, whether kids or adults, would really get a kick out of. It’s kind of ingenious really.

3D Landscape

Something requiring a little more hands-on detailing, this 3D Minecraft Landscape idea is a really cool look overall. This is sure to be a show-stopper at the next family event and would knock anyone’s socks off due to how much goes into making it look like the real world of Minecraft. Of course, any biome from Minecraft would look really cool if brought to life in a similar way as well.

Blocks

This cake is both parts cartoonish fun as well as kind of intricate. The bringing of a Minecraft brick to life as a cake is a really cool design, one that really never gets old to look at. It’s like a piece of art you’d see in the MoMA. This cake in particular seems to do a great job of marrying both fondant and frosting together perfectly.

3D Sculpture

One of my favorites on this list, this 3D sculpture type of cake that incorporates a couple of ideas from the game is a brilliant choice. This one in particular looks really clean and vibrant. Again, fondant is what this baker used to create the design and it looks fantastic. It seems that Minecraft and fondant really go together quite well. I’d imagine you could do all kinds of different in-game things in this way.

Clean and Simple

My favorite of this entire list is this cake. It’s simple at first glance yet extremely intricate and effective. Being able to bring a character/animal to life as a cake is a noble feat, especially if it’s done in such a simple and clean way. This cake has a really vibrant color pallete and doesn’t try to go too crazy.

That’s our list of the top 5 Minecraft cake ideas. There are so many great ideas online but these ones just really catch the eye immediately. Each of these ideas also really shows fine attention to the game’s objects, inhabitants, and lore as well, making them perfect for even the most knowledgeable of Minecraft players.
