Top 10 Realms That Need to Come to Disney Dreamlight Valley

Give us Oogie Boogie!

Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley is hands down one of the most exciting life sim games we’ve seen in a while, offering players a large world to explore filled with some of their favorite Disney characters both new and old. And with it being an early access title, there’s going to be room for new additions, and that’s exactly what Gameloft has planned as it will be bringing in new Realms to the game soon in the near future.

Realms serve as a way for players to visit Disney characters on their own home turf before moving them into Dreamlight Valley. It gives players the chance to get a taste of their favorite films’ worlds and characters with questlines taking place within them. So far, the game includes worlds from Ratatouille, Moana, Wall-E, and Frozen, with new Realms coming down the pipeline like the confirmed Toy Story and the rumored Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and even Cinderella.

But there are even more Realms that we’d love to see make their way into the game eventually, and we’ve put them on a list! Here are our top 10 Realms that need to come to Disney Dreamlight Valley!

Our list of the top 10 Realms we’d like implemented into the game is a varied one, with characters both new and old. Disney has quite a large list of movies to choose from, and while we’d like to see things like Inside Out or Finding Nemo make their way into the Dreamlight Valley, they may not be well-suited. We’ve made sure that our choices are as realistic as they could be for this type of life sim game. So without further ado, let’s jump into it!

Pirates of the Caribbean

The first on our list is the iconic world of Pirates of the Caribbean. With historic Disney characters such as Elizabeth Swan, Barbosa, Davy Jones, and of course, Captain Jack Sparrow at their disposal as well as the fantastic world, it would be amazing to see this film come to life in the Dreamlight Valley game engine. I’d love to see the Black Pearl on Dazzle Beach situated between Donald’s Boathouse and Ariel’s Grotto.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Perhaps what could be the most asked for Realm from fans, The Nightmare Before Christmas would fit perfectly with the theming of Dreamlight Valley as well as the film itself. In-game, players need to enter Realms through doors in the main castle, and the world of Nightmare Before Christmas too uses doors to transport people to different worlds. It’s basically a match made in heaven. Give us Oogie Boogie!

Encanto

Another film that just feels like it’s meant to connect to Dreamlight Valley is Encanto. The film’s plot revolves around the characters and their responsibility over keeping their community running safely, and so does Dreamlight Valley with players repairing the world and taking care of its inhabitants. The door plot point also fits well too. Dreamlight Valley has a similar look to the town that the Madrigal family lives in, so visually, it would be a perfect fit. I’d also love to hear this game’s instrumental rendition of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

Tangled

As we’ve seen Frozen and Moana both included in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it would only make sense for Tangled to be included as well. Who wouldn’t want to see Rapunzel’s tower in their town? The characters are also fantastic and we already have Mother Gothel, so it wouldn’t hurt to see the rest of the cast make its way into the game! I want Pascal as a companion!

Monsters Inc.

I’m starting to realize a pattern here; Disney really loves a plot point of doors transporting people to different worlds. Another film that executes this perfectly is Monsters Inc., and it would be great to see the monsters we know and love walking around Dreamlight Valley. We know Mike and Sully would make the cut but I’d also like to see Roz and Randall! It would be so cute if they made a decorative Boo Door for your home!

Cars

An odd IP choice that I think would be cool to see in-game would be the world of Cars. The cast of characters is loveable and the town of Radiator Springs is gorgeous. We already have some cosmetic and furniture items inspired by the films. So could their inclusion be hinting at the Realm coming soon? One can only hope! Let’s trade that Lightning McQueen racecar bed for a real Lightning McQueen! I’d also love to see a Cozy Cone sitting in the middle of my town, please.

The Princess and the Frog

A Realm that truly needs to make an appearance is that of The Princess and the Frog. The gorgeous French Quarter would be a great sight in this game’s engine and Tiana, Prince Naveen, Charlotte, Louis, and Dr. Facilier would make the already great roster of characters even better. This movie is just perfect all-round so its inclusion would be iconic.

The Incredibles

Another film that has some clothing and furniture items in-game already is The Incredibles! I definitely think this one is already on the table for Gameloft and it would be really easy for the developer to bring this team of superheroes to life in Dreamlight Valley. I would really like to see their cool house in my town, especially if I could go into it. Edna Mode would also be a way they could bring in ways for players to fully customize the outfits they want to make too.

Hercules

A film that may not be on anyone’s radar when thinking of Realms to bring into Disney Dreamlight Valley but would be an amazing addition is Hercules! The film is a feast for the eyes and features some fantastic locations that would be great to see in-game. The cast of characters is also flawless with the likes of Hades, Hercules, Phil, and Meg. This would scratch that 90s nostalgia itch instantly. Some clothing items like the Hercules sneakers would also be fabulous!

Aladdin

If Gameloft were to ignore bringing this film to life in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it would be sacrilegious. If you’re making a Disney game that includes iconic characters and worlds, Aladdin is one of the best. The cast, songs, and world just can’t be overlooked in this sense. Abu as a companion? Yes, please! Talking to Genie and hearing him spout off current pop-culture rhetoric? Sign me up! This would serve the game well and satisfy just about every Disney fan.

That’s our full list of the top 10 Realms That Need to Come to Disney Dreamlight Valley. It wasn’t easy to narrow the list down to just 10 since Disney has so many amazing films and franchises, but these 10 are definitely the best suited for a game like Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing worlds, characters, and even items worth checking out.
