All Changes Included in The October Update For Disney Dreamlight Valley
Gameloft’s recently released early access life-sim title, Disney Dreamlight Valley has caught gamers by storm and is really making a name for itself in the genre already. With a great, magical cast of Disney characters to befriend and a world to explore, players seemingly have everything that they need to become immersed in what the game has to offer.
But as this is an early access title, there are most definitely bugs to be found as well as the growing need for new things to make themselves into the game to create longevity in player interaction with it. Players won’t have to wait long though, as the highly talked about October update could be coming sooner than we think, with not only improvements but even some new characters to meet. All Changes Included in The October Update For Disney Dreamlight Valley
Announced via the official Twitter account for Disney Dreamlight Valley, players were given a lot to unpack for this October update. It’s broken down into three different Tweets, each with its own title, there’s Patch Timing, Priority Issues, and Incoming Fixes. Let’s break each one down!
Patch Timing
The update will definitely be coming in the month of October 2022 but there has yet to be an official date. It is clarified in the tweet that they are aiming for the second half of the month, 3 weeks to be exact. It’s also noted that the patch will be a separately implemented thing to the Star Path that’s due to come out on the 11th of October.
Priority Issues
The next tweet focused on the most important issues that the Gameloft team is focused on. Here’s what they are:
- Preventing Progress Loss
- Missing Founder’s Pack Rewards
- Console Crashes
Incoming Fixes
The third major tweet indicated that there are over 40 fixes in total coming with the patch, and listed a few that players can expect:
- PS4 Optimization
- Lighting VFX
- Quest: Unable to Collect Lightbulb
- Quest: Items Get Stick in Store’s Counter
- Switch Audio Distortion
- Rain Doesn’t Water Crops
More to Expect
If that all wasn’t enough to be excited about, the last couple of tweets indicated some more exciting news! It was announced that not only will Scar’s inclusion in the update continue the game’s story, but players will also be able to take photos in-game with an improved photo mode as well as additional poses to put their character in!
