The Cuphead Show Voice Actors

Learn who is voicing all of your favorite characters in The Cuphead Show!

When cartoons stopped being silent in the olden days, it kind of took folks a while to figure out how to actually get voices on screen properly. In a lot of old cartoons, the characters’ voices had a distinctly tinny, scratchy quality, and that was because the actors were just talking into an audio reel while the show was actually running. Thankfully, animation production has evolved substantially in the last hundred years, so while The Cuphead Show! takes cues from that era of animation, it’s a fully realized show with a fully fledged cast. Here are the voice actors for The Cuphead Show!

Cuphead – Tru Valentino

Tru Valentino

As our lead character, the precocious and impulsive Cuphead, we have Tru Valentino. Valentino’s made his living primarily on kids cartoons, including roles as Lou in Madagascar: A Little Wild, Black Panther in Spidey and his Amazing Friends, and Dave in The Mighty Ones, though he’s also had some more serious roles such as Aaron Thorsen in The Rookie. Such a diverse resume means he’s more than capable of bringing many emotions to Cuphead’s ceramic face.

Mugman – Frank Todaro

As Cuphead’s chronically nervous twin brother Mugman, we have Frank Todaro. Todaro’s been in the voice acting game for well over a decade now, landing some pretty prominent roles in cartoons, english dubs for anime, and video games. Some of his more recent work includes Draluc in the english dub of The Vampire Dies in No Time, Starscream in Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy, and several NPC voices in Genshin Impact.

Elder Kettle – Joe Hanna

As the cup siblings’ exasperated mentor and caretaker Elder Kettle, we have Joe Hanna. Most of Hanna’s demo reel is made up of video game roles, with a surprisingly high number being in crime settings, such as the Mafia series, The Godfather, and The Darkness II. It’s mildly amusing that the stern and responsible Elder Kettle would be voiced by a guy so involved in crime media, but he’ll turn in a fantastic performance nonetheless.

Ms. Chalice – Grey DeLisle

Grey DeLisle

As Cuphead and Mugman’s spunky female friend Ms. Chalice (who’s appearing in this show before she actually appears in the game, interestingly), we have Grey DeLisle. If you’ve watched just about any cartoon in the last 20 years, chances are good you’ve heard DeLisle’s voice at least once, probably more than that. Some of her most iconic roles include Martin Prince on The Simpsons, Mandy in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Sam in Danny Phantom. More recently, she’s been Wonder Woman in DC Super Hero Girls, Shrinking Rae in Invincible, and both Carla and Ramona in Kid Cosmic.

King Dice – Wayne Brady

Wayne Brady

As gambling extraordinaire and right-hand man to the Devil, King Dice, we’ve got Wayne Brady. Brady is a prominent TV personality, working as both a host and executive producer for daytime shows like Let’s Make a Deal and the western run of Whose Line is it Anyway? He’s no slouch in the acting department, though, landing recurring roles as Harold McBride in The Loud House, Gravedigger in Black Lightning, and James in How I Met Your Mother. He was also Daredevil Dan in Foodfight!, but I think he’d rather forget about that one.

The Devil – Luke Millington-Drake

Luke Millington-Drake

Finally, as our main antagonist, the prince of evil and a general sore loser, we have the Devil, played by Luke Millington-Drake. Millington-Drake is a fresh face in the acting world, with only a couple of roles in Best Friend Fix and Say Yes to the Dress to his name. However, he’s coming in hot, as he’s a prominent social media star with a popular TikTok account where he performs a litany of celebrity impressions. Based on the trailer for the show, he’s tackling the Devil with a certain gentlemanly suave, contrasted by his nasty actions. Think the Red Guy from Cow and Chicken.
