The Best Victus XMR Builds for Warzone 2.0 DMZ

Adopt the Sniper lifestyle

The Victus XMR is currently the best Sniper Rifle to use in Warzone 2.0’s DMZ Game Mode. Whilst, with all Snipers this weapon requires precision and little room for error due its its reload time and bolt action shooting, those who are used to rocking these types of Rifle will be right at home with this weapon in their hand. The purpose of the DMZ Game Mode is to deploy onto the Map and complete as many objectives as possible within a 25 minute match period. If you die you get sent back to the Lobby so insuring your weapons is essential as your survival is not guaranteed. For those who want to play DMZ as a PvP Game Mode to emulate a more realistic FPS rather that using the MW2 Multiplayer or Battle Royale, you can. These are the best builds to use for the Victus XMR in DMZ.

Best Builds to Use for the Victus XMR

The One-Shot XMR Build

  • Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Optic: Corio 13x VRS
  • Stock: FTAC Homeland
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity

This Build allows you to easily one-shot Operators within a match, although it does require precision. Whilst you can afford to miss shots due to being at a far distance whilst rocking the 13x scope, as soon as an Operator is aware of your presence they will try to escape. Of course, the best approach to taking out other Operators is to position yourself at a vantage point. You can use items such as the Spotters Scope to see where the Operators are as they move completely different to AI enemies. This Build, however, does not promote camping, it simply offers versatility in that you can utilize the UAV Towers to get pop shots from afar, and move in closer to finish the job. For Operators with Armor Plated Vests, the Victus XMR naturally will require multiple shots to take the opponent down.

The Head-Shot Magnet XMR Build

  • Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Optic: Raptor-FVM40
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Stable Shot
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity

The difference with this Build compared to the last is its general slower action to aiming in. However you can mess around with its Tunings to get it just right for your playstyle. Unlike the previous, this one is perfect for the furthest away distances and shooting Operators across the Map. You will want to remain at the highest points on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island in order to fully utilize this Build. This Build attracts head-shots due to its Scope which allows you to align the red dot within the sight to an enemy’s head to get a clean headshot. Keep in mind however that you should reposition throughout the game to avoid being spotted and sent on by enemy squads. Once again, use the Spotter Scope to gain information. The thermal optic is best here on the Spotter Scope as you will be able to see Operators clearer.

The Unforgiving XMR Build

  • Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Optic: Signal 50 8x
  • Rear Grip: Bruen G305
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal Armor Piercing

This Build is best for players who like to be closer to the enemy in order to move in to finish the job if required. It allows more room for error as you will be able to get close to downed enemies if they have a Self Revive Kit or to take on their teammates at a new angle from before. This is made possible due its its 8x Scope which allows you to quickly react to any Operators who have seen you and are trying to take you down. Unlike other Builds, this Victus XMR pierces through armor, making it easier to take down those Operators rocking a full Armor Vest in the match. This Build is more for players who prefer to play aggressive and reposition a lot, rather than keeping a distance and shooting from a far away position.

The Endless Action XMR Build

  • Muzzle: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Magazine: 9 Round
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity

The final Build we recommend trying out is for those who want to play hyper-aggressive. What is typically seen for those rocking Sniper Builds in Modern Warfare’s Multiplayer Modes. With this Build you can easily shoot Operators from mid-long range, although it cannot be used for extreme distances. This Victus XMR has the best Build for fasting ADS Speed and Bullet Velocity. Meaning that it allows you to quickly react to anyone shooting at you. Not only this but, you will be able to get cleaner and quicker headshots due to its Bullet Velocity. The essential components of this Build are the Laser and Ammunition which allows you to aim directly on an Operator’s head without having to lead or aim above the head to get that critical shot off. If you have two Insured Slots, this is perfect to take in with your favourite Sub Machine Gun.

Remember to tune these to what matches your playstyle and what feels best for these Builds. Each Build is best at different ranges and under different amounts of pressure so keep that in mind. You should aim to increase the Bullet Velocity whenever possible and overall damage and handling of the weapon without neglecting its ADS Speed as this can be unforgiving at the mid-range combat setting.
