Best public dungeons to grind for gold and items in Elder Scrolls Online

Crimson Cove (Malabar Tor)

This is our favorite among the bunch. Fast mob respawns rate, high gold drop rate due to imperial mobs, and there’s also a chance of getting a Spinner’s Garment that you can sell in the Guild Traders. This map has it all. You don’t also need to worry about the number of mobs here because this map is larger than the rest on this list. You also are getting one skyshards for your trouble.

Razak’s Wheel (Bangkorai)

This is a unique one on our list. We have imperial mobs just lurking in a Dwemer ruin. Dwemer ruins are known for the item drop rate while Imperial mobs got higher gold drop so this is a perfect spot if you want a quick buck run. You can also get a lot of Spriggan’s Thorns here that you can sell to earn more gold. This map is also quite small so you can repeat your runs here if you want to grind those gold out.

The Lion’s Den (The Rift)

This dungeon may not have a better gold drop rate than the previous maps but it makes it up with the number of mobs inside. What you want to do to make your run efficient is to lure all the mobs and clump them up. Attack them with your AOE skills and you’ll be done in no time. This mechanic makes this dungeon a good grinding spot. What makes this map better than Razak’s Wheel is that you can also obtain some Dwarven Ores. That may not be a whole skyshard but it’s definitely worth it.

This dungeon is quickly becoming a new hot spot for gold farmers in the game. Its layout is more complicated than the others in this list but the outer circles are already enough to fetch you a decent amount of gold. The real reason why this dungeon is sought after is mostly because of the items that are dropped here. Not only are they easily obtainable, they can also be sold for a good price in the Trade Guild’s Market.

The Vile Manse (Reaper’s March)

Before any of the previously mentioned maps exists, The Vile Manse is the place to go if you’re looking for gold. The only con of farming in this dungeon versus the others on this list is that the items here may be outdated already but the materials you can get here can still fetch a hefty price. The good thing is that the gold rate here is still better than some and it’s an accessible dungeon even to newer players.
