The STG may be dominating the META, but not everyone wants to use it. There’s nothing worse than being forced to use a weapon you don’t like just so that you can keep up on the leaderboards. That’s why we’ve put together this BAR loadout.

We’re going to run you through our attachment choices and why we made them.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer.
  • Barrel: CGC 30″ XL.
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x.
  • Stock: Removed Stock.
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Handstop.
  • Magazine: 8mm Klauser 40Rnd.
  • Ammo: Lengthened.
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip.
  • Proficiency: Hardscope.
  • Kit: On-Hand

The BAR is an all-around monster of a weapon. It doesn’t particularly fall short in any noticeable categories. So, our focus here is trying to get as much bang for our buck rather than covering up any of the weapon’s weaknesses.

The combination of the MX Silencer and the CGC 30″ in this Call of Duty Warzone: BAR loadout greatly improves our ability to keep the BAR under control. We’re opting for a no-stock variation of the weapon, meaning we’re losing sustained-fire accuracy. These two attachments help make up for that.

Optics are always a personal choice in Warzone, but the popular option for the BAR is the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x. Everyone is using this scope for a reason – it’s got good zoom, good control, and offers a general level of precision that lets you dominate those medium to long-range gun fights while not being too crippled at short range.

Rear grip and underbarrel-wise, we’re running the Polymer Grip and M1941 Handstop respectively. Again, we’re rocking Polymer Grip to help make up for that loss in accuracy we get from not running a stock in this BAR loadout. Combine that with the Handstop, which helps with our horizontal recoil, and we’re turning our BAR into a laser beam that gets all of the advantages of running no stock with none of the disadvantages.

The 8mm 40Rnd magazine has a pretty good time to kill which is helped out by running lengthened in our ammo slot. Lengthened also synergizes with our 30″ barrel as both help out with our bullet velocity.

Best BAR Loadout for Call of Duty: Warzone – No Stock

Our choice of Hardscope in our proficiency slot again is related to not running a stock in this BAR loadout. We’re going to be doing a lot of sustained fire with the BAR given that it’s an assault rifle, so we need that gunfire to be accurate. On-Hand is a staple quality of life option that you can run on almost any Warzone loadout, so that’s an automatic pick for us.

Lastly, we’re using the Removed Stock. The idea behind not running a stock is to try and help the BAR compete in closer ranges than it otherwise would be capable of. It increases our ADS (aim down sights) speed and ADS-walking movement speed, two key stats related to a weapon’s close-range proficiency. We’ve more than made up for the negative accuracy-related effects of not running a stock, too, so we don’t need to concern ourselves with that.

We’ve designed our BAR loadout to be an all-around powerhouse. It can perform in close-range engagements (granted you’ll still be out-gunned by quality submachine guns) and is a monster at range. If you’re looking for a new assault rifle to take into Caldera, this is it.
