Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – How to Unlock Casey Jones

A jaunt through New York is always better with Casey Jones.

Out of all of the recurring allies to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Casey Jones is definitely the most iconic. The guy patrols the streets of New York armed with nothing but a sack of assorted sporting implements, and yet still manages to be as much of a powerhouse in a fight as any of the Turtles themselves. You can take up Casey’s mantle in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, but you gotta unlock him first. Here’s how to unlock Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – How to Unlock Casey Jones

Unlocking Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a fairly easy process, relatively speaking. There’s no big, secret sequence to it; all you have to do is clear Story mode one time. Do note though that it specifically needs to be a Story mode clear. Clearing the game in Arcade mode doesn’t count.

So what exactly does Casey bring to the table? Quite a bit, as it so happens. He’s got a 3-star Range stat and a 2-star Power stat, same as Donatello, but he’s also got a 2-star Speed stat. So he’s pretty much just Donatello but better. Add to that the mildly hilarious variety of sports-themed moves he can bust out at a moment’s notice (my favorite is the golf club, complete with spontaneous pants and hat), and he’s guaranteed to make your playthrough that much more entertaining.

If you’re not sure whether to play Story or Arcade mode through first, I’d say the prospect of unlocking Casey Jones makes a Story playthrough worth it just so you can run through Arcade mode with him immediately afterward. A jaunt through New York and beyond is always improved with a little more Casey Jones in your life.
