You can perform a fling slam with any playable character. They are a type of grabbing-based move, so to grab an opponent, walk up to them and attempt a hit. When you stand close enough and go to hit an enemy, your character can instead grab them. They can do different types of moves based on which button you use next, this is when you deploy a fling slam.

You hit the up button on the directional pad and then the attack button to execute a fling slam. Your character grabs their opponent and throws them to the ground several times. Your character will sling them over their head a few times before releasing them and then performs one last strike before finishing the sequence.

There are some levels in the game that will have you perform a fling slam in order to move on. Aside from these challenges, the attack is a good way to rid of more difficult opponents quickly. However, a fling slam comes with some risk. Getting close to an opponent can possibly expose you to a quick strike from them. You might want to ready a dodge if you don’t manage to grab your opponent in time.
