Sweet Dreams is a side job in Cyberpunk 2077 that should be completely avoided in the game’s current state. The job yields no reward, you waste $16000 eddies, and there is a reasonable risk of losing all of your equipment. This guide will show you the Sweet Dreams equipment location in Cyberpunk 2077 after you lose it.
Sweet Dreams Side Job
The quest starts with you meeting with a guy named Stefan. He offers you a BD for $16000 eddies. You’re given the option of “Not Interested” if you’re able, then choose that and save yourself some time; however, if you paid him the $16000, here is what to do next.
In the next dialogue, avoid paying another $4000 Eddie. Tell him, “I’ll try it on mine, first” then immediately talk to him again and say, “OK, let’s try yours.”
Stefan will lead you to a room where you will try to braindance and then wake up in a bathroom with all of your gear missing. Your mission is to Escape the scav hideout and Find and retrieve the equipment (optional) as if the latter is optional. Here is how to get your gear back.
Sweet Dreams Equipment Location – Where is your gear?
You will want to start stealthy and snap some necks for this next part. If you have mantis blades equipped, this is the perfect time to use them. Pick up some of the low-level drops as you go. Walk out of the bathroom and make a left and kill the guy at the computer. There will be a hole in the wall, and you should see the locker with your stuff through it. The locker is on the right side of the room.
Now you have an option. You can Distract Enemies with the ceiling fan and sneak in or run into the room, grab your stuff at the locker, run out and equip it fast. Then go back in an massacre everyone. We chose the massacre everyone route.
After you leave the scav hideout, you will be told to Confront Stefan to get your $16000 Eddies back. It doesn’t matter what you pick at the dialogue with Stefan. You won’t get your Eddies back. You can kill Stefan if you feel the hatred in your heart.
So that’s the Sweet Dreams equipment location in Cyberpunk 2077. Some players have reported that their locker is bugged, and they can’t get their gear, specifically on the PS4. If possible, avoid this job, or if you already started, go back to a save and skip it.
