While there are many things to stumble upon in the game, the priority is selecting a proper server. Some players confuse servers with channels. However, they are completely different. In this guide, we will see how you can change the server in the game. As a bonus, we will also look at changing channels.

Stalcraft – How to Switch Servers

After creating a character, the game will automatically assign you to a particular server. The server is commonly in and around your location, and is usually the best choice for latency. However, some players may not feel satisfied with the default servers, and might want to change it. Follow the steps below to the same.

  • Fire up the game.
  • Look at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
  • Check in the Create New Character menu.
  • You will notice a server name with your current ping. It will be something like “NA Region 45.”
  • Change it to your preferred region.

Note: Changing the server will lose all character progression. You will have to create a new character for scratch.

Stalcraft – Changing The Channels

Now that we know how to change the server, let’s also look at changing channels in the game.

You will notice your current channel in the top right hand of your screen, just above the map. Channel keep you engaged with your current teammates.

There are three different ways of changing the channel in the game. We will number them in points for better understanding.

  1. To change channel, go to your PDA. Now select and confirm that you want to be on the same channel as your squad captain.
  2. You can also use the white arrows on the map to move in between two areas. Changing your location will change your channel as well.
  3. Creating a new character will also change your channel. However, this would be a very foolish move. We are mentioning it here, because it technically changes your channel.

So there you go. Now, you know how to change the server and channel in Stalcraft.
