SpellForce – Conquest of Eo gives players a multitude of minions which allows for various playstyles. You can be more aggressive or control oriented. These minions have their own quirks that may hinder their usefulness if players don’t know how to navigate them. Undead are such a minion, as they don’t follow conventional healing that the other minions offer.
But this isn’t to say you can’t heal the undead, you just have to know how. This guide will serve as the best ways to keep your dead alive or, rather, unalive.
How to Heal Undead in SpellForce: Conquest of Eo
The undead have a unique mechanic to heal in consuming a corpse. Your first undead minion will have this ability but, afterwards, you’ll need to level up to unlock the skill “Eat Corpse”. This will allow your undead to eat the remains of fallen enemies in order to regain health.
Speaking of leveling up, you’ll eventually get the ability “Undead Regeneration”, which heals undead at the start of each turn. The healing itself isn’t much, but it adds up quickly especially if your minion isn’t in danger of taking additional damage.
Another way is actually a spell that helps all your units. It’s “Aid”, which can used at the start but requires a mana to use. Despite the undead’s inability to heal normally, this spell still recovers their health. This spell is invaluable in early game as you try to craft some of the higher tiered undead that will have or can learn the other skills to let them heal on their own.
