Sons of the Forest is a horror survival game where you’re going to want to have cheats. Imagine if you were able to regenerate your health or you never had to worry about going hungry? You’re going to need all the help you can get when it comes to surviving on a remote island. You’re probably wondering are there any cheats out there where you can enter God mode? What about having the ability to build anything? We’re going to teach you how to use cheats and use console commands in the game Sons of the Forest.

Sons of the Forest Cheats

Unfortunately for you, Sons of the Forest itself doesn’t offer cheats. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Thankfully, modders have created tools to use in order to implement cheats to your game. In order to add cheats you’re going to want to install Thunderstone Mod Manager and BepInExPack ILCPP. You’re also going to want to have DebugConsole Mod. Once you have gotten the mods, boot up your game, and choose the option for modded on the Thunderstone Mod interface. You’re then going to want to press F1 to bring up the debug console screen.

Character Cheats

  • addallitems – Give yourself all items
  • additem [item name] – Adds an item
  • buffstats – Refills all hunger, thirst, and stamina
  • cavelight off – Turns off illumination around you
  • cavelight on – Turns on lighting around you
  • createlight – Adds a light source to the world
  • forcerain heavy – Changes weather to rain
  • forcerain sunny – Changes weather to sunny
  • godmode off – Turns off god mode
  • godmode on – Turns on god mode
  • instantbookbuild off – Turns off instant build cheat
  • instantbookbuild on – Builds anything selected from book
  • locktimeofday morning – Time remains morning
  • regenhealth – Refills health
  • removeallitems – Removes most from inventory
  • save – Saves progress
  • season autumn – Changes season to autumn
  • season spring – Changes season to spring
  • season summer – Changes season to summer
  • season winter – Changes season to winter
  • settimeofday [1-24] – Changes the time of day
  • settimeofday morning – Changes time to morning
  • settimeofday night – Changes time to night
  • showhud off – Turns HUD off
  • showhud on – Turns HUD on
  • spawnworldobject x – Spawns item specified
  • speedyrun off – Turns off fast run
  • speedyrun on – Lets you run faster
  • superjump off – Turns off super jump
  • superjump on – Super jump

NPC Cheats

  • addcharacter robby 1 – Adding another Kevin
  • addvirginia – Add extra Virginia
  • aidisable – AI beings vanish
  • aigodmode off – Turn off God mode
  • aigodmode on – Companions get God mode
  • aighostplayer off – Enemies no longer see you
  • aighostplayer on – Enemies see you
  • aipause – AI freezes
  • aishowthoughts on – Display AI paths & thoughts
  • killradius [number] – Kills everything within chosen range

In order to use the cheats listed below you’re going to want to use your debug mod. If any of these cheats don’t work they’re still all a work in progress. As with any type of codes you use you should always think about saving your game and backing up your files. You never know if you’re using a code that will mess up your gameplay.
