Secret Tape Location at the Mall in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
The secret tape location in the Mall level is on the two rails overlooking the New Era store. It’s in the rafters, so you may have forgotten it if you didn’t manage to make the jump up there.
We have a video below detailing exactly how we managed to get up to the rafters. Basically, you can take the right path with the ramp and the destroyed car. Jump off the left side of the ramp to land at the start of the rafters. Hold Y to make sure you grind as soon as you’re in range.
You’ll need to perform a pretty long sequence to make it across to the secret tape. Make sure to balance yourself, and ride straight through the tape to collect it. The game is pretty forgiving, so there’s a big radius around the tape.
