However, you don’t just need to build a boat to succeed, you can instead cruise in style to the finish line in a car. Here is how to build a car in Build a Boat for Treasure.

How cars work in Build a Boat for Treasure

Build a Boat for Treasure has all the components for making a boat available, but thankfully, they also have the bits and bobs required to make a car available, too. Seeing the creative capabilities of the game, the devs made it so you can buy car components, to either construct a car or enhance your boat into a strange hybrid.

A car is distinguished from a boat in one important metric, how the thing is powered. Boats require motors to move and turn, whereas cars need wheels. You could make a vessel that uses both methods, if you wanted to, but we’re going to be making a conventional car. You can make your car as stylish as you want, but we will be making a simple one to show off the mechanics of making a car.

Once you understand how to make a car, you can make any sort of design yourself. You will need to buy wheels from the store, either the car pack for 750 gold, four wheels for 250 Robux, or the legacy car pack for 750 gold. Either way, you will want to acquire four wheels.

Building your first car in Build a Boat for Treasure

To build your car, you will need to firstly build the axles. Decide how long and wide you want your car. Place a line of blocks to determine the length of your car, then place perpendicular lines in two places to determine where the wheels will go. It should look something like this:

Make the front of your car longer than the rear. Place your four wheels at the ends of the four prongs. Again, you can make this as stylish as you want, for example you may wish to add rods for a more realistic look.

Once the wheels have been placed, build up the rest of the car. Add a main compartment to add a chair. It would be recommended to add a strong and long ‘bumper’ to the front of the car to shrug off hits. You may also be interested in adding ‘mudguards’ to protect the wheels from damage.

All you must do then is hit ‘launch’ and your car will be zooming into the sunset.
