There’s a lot to think about when it comes to weapon skills in Arcane Odyssey. So, let’s break it down for anyone who’s having a rough time wrapping their head around it. Read on to learn more about what the weapon skills system truly means in Arcane Odyssey.

Roblox Arcane Odyssey Weapon Skills Explained

Understanding Weapon Type

So, there are two main factors to consider when it comes to weapons in Arcane Odyssey. These factors are QUALITY and TYPE. It might be easier to understand quality, as it’s very similar to other like-minded RPGs. In summary, quality is used to point to a weapon’s level requirement. Meanwhile, a weapon’s type is used to determine what skills a weapon will have.

It would seem that weapons in Arcane Odyssey have a total of five skills that can vary in nature. To clarify, these five skills are typically four regular skills and one ultimate. But, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be able to instantly use a weapon’s ult upon obtaining said weapon. No — you can gain access to these skills incrementally, with enough earned skill points. Skills can be further divided up into default skills and unique skills. It depends largely on the weapon, but there is a selection of weapons that have both default skills that can be found on other weapons, and unique skills which are … well … unique.

Understanding Weapon Quality

In addition to a weapon’s type, there are three levels of quality to consider: Poor, Average, and Good. Each level of quality will require a different amount of skill points to unlock its various skills. For example, while you might only need 20 points to access the first skill for a poor quality weapon, for a good quality weapon, you’d need to earn 220 points.

All that being said, once you’ve unlocked a skill, you can’t just use it endlessly. There is a price to be paid for power, and in this case, that price is paralysis. If you choose to use weapon skills, be prepared for the short recovery duration that occurs afterwards. During this recovery duration, you’ll be unable to move in any way — and yes, that includes attacking and blocking. You’ll be utterly defenseless.

In any case, that’s more or less everything you need to know about weapon skills in Arcane Odyssey. Now, it’s time to get out there and start your adventure! You’ll undoubtedly learn more about weapons and weapon skills as you proceed, and as you earn bigger and better quality weapons!
