Revived Witch is a mobile gacha game, so it’s common to have some sort of auto feature that allows your team to battle automatically. However, Revived Witch is unique in that it has a secondary auto mode that gives you a little more control in combat. The option is handy for certain team compositions, especially when using dolls that have timed abilities. This guide will show you how to use free combat mode in Revived Witch and how the secondary auto mode works.
Generally, auto mode causes your characters to use their skills automatically whenever they are available and off cooldown. When you first open Revived Witch, Auto Combat is set to Default Mode. It functions as it does in any other game with this feature; your dolls use their skills when they are available. However, you can change this to Free Mode, allowing you some more refined control over your characters’ skills. Simply put, free auto mode is a nice balance between full auto and manual gameplay.

How to enable Free Mode Auto Combat in Revived Witch
To enable Free Mode Auto Combat in Revived Witch, follow these steps:
- Launch Revived Witch.
- Tap on your profile icon on the top left from the main screen.
- Go to System Settings.
- Change Auto Combat to Free Mode.
When Auto Combat is on Free Mode, you can select one main ability and one secondary ability to cast automatically. You can click on one primary and one secondary to see a yellow and purple highlighted border on them, which signifies those two skills are set to auto-cast. During combat, your dolls will only use those two abilities automatically. Some players like to use this feature with Afallen’s second ability. You can test this out in Formation mode to get a feel for how it works.
One thing to note is that you cannot cast Charged Skills manually, so you cannot select those. While in combat, Charged Skills generate stacks of charges, and once the charges are full, the skill casts automatically.
Revived Witch is unique, however, in that some bosses will actually require you to play manually. Some bosses have interrupt mechanics and special timings you need to take advantage of, and auto-combat just won’t cut it sometimes. However, you may find greater success using the Free Mode Auto Combat feature we’ve outlined above.
